Fixes and Improvements

Terminals, User Interfaces

Hebrew texts were not rendered correctly on Epson embedded terminals (EM-C800 series) — some labels appeared as blank boxes and others fell back to English. This was resolved and the missing translations have been added. (SBT-5507)

Long scan workflow names overflowed the list layout on Epson embedded terminals. Long names are now truncated, consistent with the print job and billing code lists. (SBT-5487)

The Brother mass deployment tool has been updated to the latest available version. (SBT-5495)

Card reads from HID card readers on HP embedded terminals could occasionally be processed incompletely. Incomplete card reads are now correctly rejected. (SBT-5512)

Installation and Administration

When updating an installation that uses an external MS SQL database with enforced TLS, the bundled installer displayed a misleading "License support is not valid" message, and the Czech localization showed a sentence cut off in the middle. The installer now shows the same correct message as the standalone installer. (SBT-5442)

The notification about incomplete email configuration was shown to every user of the management interface. It is now displayed only to administrators. (SBT-5463)

The PIN expiration notification was not configurable, so administrators could not tell users where to generate a new PIN code. The notification can now be configured. (SBT-5515)

In the Italian localization, the card self-activation email triggered by a user's first print job was delivered with unresolved placeholders instead of the account name and activation code. The email template has been corrected. (SBT-5493)

After a report-generation timeout on PostgreSQL 16, web reports stopped being generated and statistics processing remained locked until manual intervention. The processing now recovers correctly after a timeout. (SBT-5358)

The management interface now supports TLS 1.3 and a wider set of cipher suites for email connections. (SBT-5289)

Printing

Print jobs could remain stuck in the PENDING state when the print command forwarded to another Site Server or spooler was lost during a disconnect, and the affected job was not visible anywhere. Such jobs now end in the SPOOLER ERROR state, so users can see them and release them again on the device. (SBT-5432)

Print jobs sent with the Konica Minolta AccurioPress print driver were parsed with 0 pages by the spooler. These jobs are now parsed correctly. (SBT-5405)

Scanning

Scan delivery to email failed against SMTP servers that only support TLS 1.3. The workflow processing now supports both TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3. (SBT-5503)

Payment system

Periodic recharge could fail in environments with a large number of users because database locking introduced in an earlier release exhausted connection resources. The recharge processing has been fixed and no longer fails. (SBT-5366)
